Description

On the shore of Lake Ontario, we spotted a young heron fishing. He perched on the shore surveying the lake and then began to wade slowly back and forth in the water. After a while, he stood statue-like waiting to surprise an unsuspecting fish. This painting depicts this young heron as he waits for a fish.
