We have beautiful autumns in the northeast. On a sunny day, the colors are stunning. The orange, green and gold leaves against the blue sky give me the feeling that all is well with the world. Often, the temperatures are quite warm throughout October.
In the mountains, the view and the colors fill me with a sense of well being. The water is still inviting so a canoe ride is appealing. And who could resist stopping on the far shore to walk in the trees? The small cabin in the distance provides a cozy spot should the night grow cold. What a wonderful way to take an Autumn Respite!

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature. I believe in lifelong learning and love the painting process where you never stop learning and discovering new things. I hope you enjoy my paintings!
