In the Northeast, sunny Autumn days can be so bright and colorful that it is hard to describe. My mother used to call them "blue and gold days". The sky is intensely blue. The colorful leaves seem to have a light of their own. This kind of weather made a nearby stream a magical place of color and light.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature. I believe in lifelong learning and love the painting process where you never stop learning and discovering new things. I hope you enjoy my paintings!
