After a long day of travel on the water of the North Channel in Canada, we were happy to be approaching Drummond Island, the place we would re-enter the USA. Rain had been threatening all day and the route had been rocky and circuitous. We docked the boat and stepped out. What a surprise to be greeted by a beautiful sunset view of the US flag, welcoming us back.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature.
