The Northern Cardinals are easy to spot because of their bright colors. They have a beautiful song and particularly like sunflower seeds.
I see them dancing in the branches overhead. One particular pair watched my every move and seemed to say, "Did You Bring Breakfast?"
Northern Cardinals are common visitors to the Eastern US and Canada. In New York State we see them in the Catskill and Adirondack Mountains (except for the highest elevations) and along Lake Ontario and the Finger Lakes. They are avid visitors to Bird Feeders.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature. I believe in lifelong learning and love the painting process where you never stop learning and discovering new things. I hope you enjoy my paintings!
