The Eastern Red Columbine is one of the most beautiful flowers in the Northeast. It has such delicate blossoms and it's leaves are an unusual shape. You know it is summer when the Eastern Red Columbine is in bloom.
While the Eastern Red Columbine is a wildflower, I love to incorporate them into my cultivated flower beds. I look forward to seeing them each year here in upstate New York. Their delicate blooms are amazing.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature. I believe in lifelong learning and love the painting process where you never stop learning and discovering new things. I hope you enjoy my paintings!
