Artist's Description
Surprisingly, one of the most graceful water creatures is the sea turtle. When swimming, their flippers move as gracefully as wings as they glide through the water. I was amazed at their beauty the first time I saw one underwater.
Green Sea Turtles can be found as far North as Maine in the US on the Atlantic Coast and as far north as Vancouver Island, Canada on the Pacific Coast. They are an important reminder that we need to preserve our oceans that support so many wonderful creatures.
I love opportunities to snorkel in water where the Green Sea Turtle lives. This green sea turtle was photographed underwater, in the North Pacific Ocean, Floating Free.
