Swans are amazing and beautiful birds. This painting depicts a pair of swans that live on Little Sodus Bay in Fair Haven, NY as they head home at the end of a day. The leaves are beginning to change and the weather is cooler. We have watched this pair of swans as they nest each year, raise their cygnets, help them grow, migrate for the winter and return each spring. They are loyal to each other and their family and a joy to watch.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature.
