Artist's Description
When the tide goes out, it is not unusual to see a row of multiple-colored boats at rest on the shore of James Bay, Canada. James Bay is at the Southernmost tip of the Hudson Bay which extends from the Artic Ocean. On a motorcycle trip to that area, my son took a photo of a row of colored boats on the beach during low tide. What a lovely sight they made and I was inspired to capture the scene in this painting.
