It is hard to describe the peace and well being one finds on a Lake. It is inspiring, calming and exhilarating all at once. The sun, the beautiful colors, the magnificent sky and the boundless water create a sense of euphoria that is hard to duplicate. This painting depicts a sailor enjoying the water outside the channel leading to Little Sodus Bay. I, too, take advantage of this experience often on the south shores of Lake Ontario near Fair Haven, New York where I can enjoy the beauty of the water and the wonderful Lake Breeze.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature.
