Sometimes while observing wildlife through binoculars or a camera, I am surprised to see the animal looking back! They don't miss much!
This pair of young raccoons have mixed reactions to being so closely observed. While the one in back seems a bit uncertain, the raccoon in front appears curious about their observer. Raccoons are known for their bold curiosity and I would not have been surprised had this one moved in for a closer look!
This pair of raccoons was found "Looking Back" at me in Central New York.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature. I believe in lifelong learning and love the painting process where you never stop learning and discovering new things. I hope you enjoy my paintings!
