I woke before dawn to see that the sky was beautiful variations of purple and magenta, The moon was low in the sky and a beautiful shade of yellow. It seemed to be unusually large and provided such a beautiful contrast to the sky. The colors were so unusual that I wondered if I was dreaming. As I questioned if anyone else was witnessing this beautiful scene, a Heron flew in. Together, we enjoyed the Magenta Moon.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature. I believe in lifelong learning and love the painting process where you never stop learning and discovering new things. I hope you enjoy my paintings!
