Artist's Description
An Art Nouveau style design painted for my daughter that is now framed over her doorway in her home.
Art Nouveau is an ornamental style of art that flourished between about 1890 and 1910 throughout Europe and the United States. Art Nouveau is characterized by its use of a long, sinuous, organic line and was employed most often in architecture, interior design, jewelry and glass design, posters, and illustration.

About Sarah Irland
I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature. I believe in lifelong learning and love the painting process where you never stop learning and discovering new things. I hope you enjoy my paintings!
