During sunny days in October, the quality of the light is difficult to describe. In the late afternoon when the sun is low in the sky, it is as if the air itself is golden. The trees and leaves turn to red and gold and harmonize into a titian landscape giving a dream like quality the scene...

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature.
