As the sun moved toward the horizon, the surrounding sky took on contrasting colors of purple and gold that were reflected in the water of the beautiful river on which we traveled. The colors were amazing and we so enjoyed the purple sunset.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature. I believe in lifelong learning and love the painting process where you never stop learning and discovering new things. I hope you enjoy my paintings!
