We had spent the day crossing Lake Ontario in our trawler and as we drew near Presqu'ile Bay, Canada, sunset was approaching. Behind us was a sailboat that was enjoying the view. We captured some photos and I was inspired to paint this beautiful scene. We were at the beginning of a long boating journey and I did not want to forget the beautiful colors so I began to paint on the boat during our journey. This painting of that Sailboat at Sunset was the result.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature. I believe in lifelong learning and love the painting process where you never stop learning and discovering new things. I hope you enjoy my paintings!
