Artist's Description
SUNSET LULLABY - THE SIMPLE THINGS. It is amazing how relaxing it is to be on the beach at the end of the day to watch the sun go down. The sound of the waves and the gentle breeze seems to lull us into a state of tranquility that is unique. The bright colors of the sunset and the calls of the birds just add to the song we hear. The dreamlike quality of the scene reminds us of the simple joys in life and leads us to envision pleasant tomorrows. My children readily succumbed to this lullaby each season and slept soundly after their visits to Lake Ontario. The mother in this painting knows that her child will sleep well after this Sunset Lullaby.
