When you leave the woods and cross the bridge over the creek, our home is a welcome sight where it sits at the top of the hill.

On clear, snowy days, the afternoons can be quite colorful. While most of us think of snow as white, the setting sun turns the sky pink which casts a rosy glow over all. The shadows take on an indigo hue and everything is a shade of purple, blue or pink.

I know that a warm fire and a hot drink await me at home so I linger to enjoy the beauty of the scene.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature. I believe in lifelong learning and love the painting process where you never stop learning and discovering new things. I hope you enjoy my paintings!
