Artist's Description
An Egret was fishing in the dark shallows of an inlet. Occasionally he would look out at the open water where the sun was bright and other birds were noisily flying about. He gave one last search of the dark shallows and made his decision to fly To the Light.
The egret represents grace, beauty, and purity. The light represents holiness, goodness, knowledge and wisdom. In Celtic culture, the egret was thought to be a messenger from the spirit world and was considered to be sacred.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature.
