Artist's Description

A lone tree reaches it's arms to the sky as if welcoming the light of the new day. How many dawns has it witnessed? How many storms has it withstood? How many creatures has it sheltered? How many changes in the world has it seen? Yet it is steadfast and strong as it welcomes the light.

The light symbolizes the spirituality in us all. It is a Celtic belief that trees symbolize life - their roots firmly planted in the ground and their branches reaching to the sky.
