Sometimes events come together in just the right way so that we have a unique experience.
On our first night on St. George Island in Florida the moon was so bright we could easily see and we took this opportunity to walk to the beach.
The sea and sky were bright with soft colors of purple, blue and indigo. The waves lapped gently to shore and the breeze was gentle. Even the Pelicans were flying!
There was a dreamlike quality to the scene that I could not forget. I was amazed at our good fortune to be at this beautiful place at just the right time to witness the Indigo Moon.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature. I believe in lifelong learning and love the painting process where you never stop learning and discovering new things. I hope you enjoy my paintings!
