The forest in Autumn is a beautiful place. In the Northeast, the leaves are wonderful shades of red, yellow and orange. One Autumn day while walking in the woods, we saw a White-tailed deer ahead. The Doe turned and looked back at us as if to say: Walk With Me?
I felt such an affinity with this deer. We shared the same path and the enjoyment of the day. I thought of all of the things we had in common - as mammals, as females, as travelers and as inhabitants of the Earth. How important it is that we learn to live together peacefully in our journey through life. I am still thankful for this wonderful, spiritual encounter.

I love being outdoors and seeing the beauty of nature during all seasons. I love color and the great way you feel when colors come together in just the right way. This is the inspiration for my painting and most of my work depicts scenes from nature. I believe in lifelong learning and love the painting process where you never stop learning and discovering new things. I hope you enjoy my paintings!
